The flavors are amazing. Turnip greens and black eyed peas are pure perfection. The meats are smoked and BBQed and juicy and tender. I can't wait to eat here every time we're in town. Do your taste buds a favor and give them some real southern soul food. ”

“ The potato salad was very close to the original recipe at this location and I miss that at the Baton Rouge location. Look how nice and tight the potato salad is. No heavy egg or mayo flavor. The beans were also good. The ribs and chicken were a little light on seasoning for me. ”
